April, May & June 2018

GIRO Prestige, London Dynamo, Hillingdon Slipstreamers & Twickenham CC, will be running a series of road cluster sessions on behalf of Central Region on Sundays 29^thApril, 20^thMay & 3^rdJune at Kempton Park racecourse for Youth, Junior & U23 riders.  The sessions will run from 9.30am to 12.00pm (Sign on from 9.00am)

The circuit sessions will be structured and progressive focussing on racing techniques that will be held on the closed road circuits at Kempton Park. These will cover the technical & tactical skills required to race successfully at a regional & national level.

There will be separate groups for older (U14+) and younger (U12) riders lead by experienced Coaches from the 4 clubs. All are welcome.

Please sign up online here for the series. The cost for the series will be £10 for club members (GIRO Prestige, London Dynamo, Twickenham CC, Hillingdon Slipstreamers) and £12 for non- members. It will be possible to participate on a per session basis (£4 per session members, £5 non-members).

Kempton Park Location

Kempton Park, just off Junction 1 of the M3 offers a traffic free environment & we are able to run sessions using a variety of circuits on the site.  Although the terrain is flat the circuits available provide the flexibility to coach a wide range of racing & riding skills in a situation where rider performance can be observed at all times. 

Signing on will be in the Jockey Hostel which is adjacent to the Parade Ring at the Sunbury Cross end of the complex.  On the day of the session please park in the Main Car Park & use the gate next to the North Entrance.  Toilets & changing facilities will be available in the Jockey Hostel.
